Day 01: Bangalore - Mysore - Coorg |
Our representative will pick up you from Bangalore Railway Station and drive to Mysore. On arrival at Mysore, visit Chamundi Hills. The hill is famous for Chamundi Temple. The temple has a beautiful idol of the goddess. The top of the hill has a few attractions - the Mahishasura Statue and a few other temples nearby. After Lunch, proceed to Coorg, on arrival at Madikeri, check in to the hotel and overnight stay at the hotel. |
Day 02: Coorg - Mangalore - Kateel - Kodyadka - Dharmasthala |
Morning, checkout the hotel and proceed to Mangalore, the coastal town of Karnataka. On arrival at Mangalore, visit Kadri Manjunatha Temple, then Sharavu Mahaganapathi Temple, Mangaladevi Temple and famous Kudroli Gokarnanatha Temple. After visiting temples at Mangalore, proceed to Kateel Durga Parameshwari Temple, located on the banks of River Nandini. Get the divine blessings of Goddess Durgaparameshwari Temple and proceed to Kodyadka, also known as Hosanadu. The main attraction of this place is the temple dedicated to Goddess Annapoorneshwari. The Hosanadu Kodyadka temple is surrounded by evergreen woods rich in natural beauty, with abundance of flora and fauna. Day 03: Dharmasthala - Shishila - Sauthadka - Kukke Subrahmanya |
Early morning at 7 AM, check out the hotel and proceed to visit Lord Manjunatheshwara Temple, Dharmasthalathe main attraction of Dharmasthala and have a darshan of Lord Manjunatha Swamy (Shiva). Visit to Rathnagiri to see the statue of Gommateshwara and Badinade (Annappa) Betta, then proceed to visit Sauthadka Ganapathi Kshetra, a place dedicated to Vana Mahaganapathi (without any temple structure) and it is surrounded by scenic beauty. There is no restriction for worshiping god anytime.
Kukke Subrahmanya TempleThen proceed to Shishila located in the picturesque location. Here a 1000 year old temple is dedicated to Lord Shishileshwara on the banks of river Kapila. It is also believed that one can get rid of all types of skin disease after worshipping at Shishileshwara temple and feeding the fish in Kapila River. Then proceed to Kukke Subrahmanya Temple, a popular religious destination which is surrounded by lush green forest along with hills. It is situated on the banks of the Kumaradhara River. The main temple located in Kukke is of Subrahmanya that is dedicated to the Snake God Vasuki and Lord Subrahmanya. The temple is famous for religious rituals pertaining to snake god. On arrival at Kukke Subrahmanya, check in to the hotel and relax for some time. Then proceed to visit temple. After having darshan, visit to Adi Subrahmanya Temple. Day 04: Kukke Subrahmanya - Ujire - Horanadu |
Morning after breakfast, checkout the hotel and proceed to Ujire. Visit Sri Janardhana Swamy Temple at Ujire and Sadashiva Rudra Temple at Surya Village near Ujire. A temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and the temple has got a unique tradition of offering clay sculptures to God when their wishes are fulfilled as a symbol of gratitude. Then proceed to Horanadu via Charmadi Ghat and enjoy the beauty of Charmadi Ghat.
Horanadu situated on the banks of river Bhadra in a remote corner of Chikmaglur district and Horanadu is located amidst natural vegetation, forest, green lands and natural beauty of the Western Ghats. Horanadu Annapoorneshwari TempleInstallation of goddess of Food, Adishakthyathmaka Sri Annapoorneshwari was done by his holiness Agasthya Maharishi several centuries back. On arrival at Horanadu, check in to the hotel and relax for sometime and then in evening, visit to the temple and offer prayers to the Goddess and dinner in the temple dining hall. Day 05: Horanadu - Sringeri - Udupi (with Ambalapady, Kadiyali) |
Morning, visit to the temple and offer morning prayers to the Goddess Annapoorneshwari and have breakfast and coffee at temple dining hall. Return to the hotel and check out the hotel and proceed to Kalasa and then to Sringeri to offer prayers to Sri Sharadamba, Goddess of Knowledge. Sringeri is located on the banks of river Tunga and it is the site of the first mutt established by Adi Shankaracharya. The main attraction of Sringeri is Sri Sharadamba Temple and Vidya Shankara Temple. The Vidyashankara temple is an architectural marvel. Visit these two temples and have delicious lunch at the beautiful and large dining hall of the temple.
After Lunch proceed to Udupi. Enroute, watch the amazing beauty of Agumbe Ghats. Then proceed to Udupi. On arrival at Udupi, check in to the hotel and proceed to visit Ambalapady Janardhana Mahakali Temple and Kadiyali Mahishamardhini Temple and then visit world famous Sri Krishna Temple and dinner at Temple dining hall, return to the hotel and overnight stay at the hotel. |
Day 06: Udupi - Saligrama - Anegudde - Hattiangadi - Kollur Mookambika |
Morning, after breakfast, check out the hotel and proceed to Hattiangadi. Enroute, visit famous Guru Narasimha Temple at Saligrama and Maha Ganapathi Temple at Anegudde, then proceed to Hattiangadi. Sri Siddi Vinayaka temple of Hattianagadi dates back to 8th century. It is located in the northern bank of the river Varahi. The idol of Sri Siddi Vinayaka is 2.5 ft high and is carved of a Saligrama stone.
Lunch at Hattiangadi Temple and the drive to Kollur, a popular pilgrim center that lies at the foot of the Western Ghats and the place is famous for the Sri Mookambika temple. The goddess is called Mookambika as she is said to have slain the demon Mookasura. The goddess is described as in the form of a jyotirlinga incorporating both Shiva and Shakti. The panchaloha image of the goddess on Shri Chakra is stated to have been consecrated by Shri Adi Shankaracharya. On arrival at Kollur, check in to the hotel and proceed to visit Sri Mookambika Temple. Dinner at temple dining hall and return to the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel. |
Day 07: Kollur - Murudeshwara - Idagunji - Gokarna |
After Breakfast, check out the hotel and proceed to Murudeshwara. Murudeshwara beach town lies on the coast of the Arabian Sea and is also famous for the Murudeshwara Temple. The main attraction of this place is world's second - tallest Shiva statue and 20 storied Gopura (237.5 feet) is constructed at the temple. Visit Shiva statue and Lord Murudeshwara Temple, built on the Kanduka Hill which is surrounded on three sides by the waters of the Arabian Sea. Then drive to Gokarna. On the way to Gokarna, visit famous Ganapathi temple at Idagunji. On arrival at Gokarna, check in to the hotel and overnight stay at the hotel. |
Day 08: Gokarna - Sirsi - Hubli |
Early morning after Bath, visit to Mahabaleshwara Temple, a sacred pilgrimage site amongst Indian Places. The Mahabaleshwar temple enshrines the Atma Linga of Lord Shiva. Legend says that the holy Linga was given by Lord Shiva to King Ravana to make his kingdom an invincible fortress. Then proceed to visit Tamra Gowri Temple and Ganapathi Temple at Gokarna and return to the Hotel. After breakfast, checkout the hotel and proceed to Sirsi.
On arrival at Sirsi, visit Sri Marikamba temple, the 16th century Marikamba temple in Sirsi is main attraction of Sirsi and it is one of the important seats of shakti worship in Karnataka. Sri Marikamba Temple houses a huge idol of Goddess, which is about seven feet tall. Then proceed to Sahasralinga, a beautiful place in Western Ghats where hundreds of Lingas are carved in stone in Shalmala River in North Canara. Then proceed to Sonda Vadiraja Mutt. After lunch, proceed to Hubli, on arrival at Hubli, check in to the hotel and overnight stay at the hotel. |
Day 09: Hubli - Badami - Banashankari - Pattadakakal - Aihole - Hospet |
After breakfast, checkout the Hotel and drive to Badami. Visit Banashankari Temple, Badami Cave Temples and Lunch thereafter. After Lunch visit to Mahakuteshwara Temple at Mahakuta, Pattadakal Mallikarjuna, Virupaksha & other temples, Aihole Durgadagudi & other temples. Drive to Hospet, on arrival at Hospet, check in to the hotel and overnight stay at Hotel. |
Day 10: Hospet - Hampi - Chitradurga |
HampiAfter Breakfast, Drive to Hampi for Sightseeing (Virupaksha Temple, Kadale Kalu Ganesha, Sasive Kalu Ganesha, Krishna Temple, Lakshmi Narasimha, Badavi Linga, Sister Stones, Underground Temple, Mint House, Lotus Mahal, Elephant Stables, Hazara Rama Temple, Palace Area, Mahanavami Dibba, Queen's Bath). After Lunch visit to Visit Vijaya Vittala Temple (Stone Chariot), King's Balance, Purandara Mantapa, Old Pillar Bridge. Evening, proceed to Chitradurga. Day 11: Chitradurga - Belur - Halebid - Hassan |
After breakfast, visit famous Chitradurga Fort. The Fort was built in stages between the 10th and 18th centuries by the dynastic rulers of the region. The Chitradurga fort is built in a series of seven concentric fortification walls with various passages, a citadel, mosque, warehouses for grains and oil, water reservoirs and ancient temples. Afternoon lunch and drive to Belur and Halebid.
Then visit to Belur, which is located on the banks of the River Yagachi, a star shaped temple with hand lathe-turned filigreed pillars and sculptures will take your breath away. The temple, perched on a star shaped base amidst lawns, is a sculptural extravaganza. Then proceed to visit Halebidu, the 12th century capital of the Hoysalas. The Hoysaleswara temple was built during this time by Ketamala and attributed to Vishnuvardhana, the Hoysala ruler. Halebid enshrines Hoysaleswara and Shantaleswara, named after the temple builder Vishnuvardhana Hoysala and his wife, Queen Shantala. Proceed to Hassan. Day 12: Hassan - Sravanabelagola - Bangalore |
Sravanabelagola Morning after breakfast, checkout the hotel and drive to Bangalore. Enroute visit Shravanabelagola - is one of the most important Jain pilgrimage destinations in Hassan district. The 57 feet monolithic statue of the Bhagavan Gomateshwara Bahubali is located on the Vindyagiri. Bhagavan Gomateshwara Bahubali is considered to be the world's largest monolithic stone statue and was erected by Chamundaraya, a general of King Gangaraya.
